It's Been Awhile, and Yellowstone

It's been awhile since I've posted on my blog, I guess I've been a little busy this summer! I have two great things to report...first, I just returned from a week-long family vacation in Yellowstone Nat'l Park (which was visually stunning and overwhelming and beautiful and raw), and second, my website launches tomorrow!! (http://www.debbiecapizano.com/) Please cruise on over and check it out.
These two photos were taken at the same place even though they look totally different by comparison. (Perspective is a powerful tool!) I can't say enough about everything I experienced in Yellowstone...the geology and the sounds and the amazing feeling of power in nature. At times I was stunned into silence, staring down into crystal clear bubbling pools or watching steam and water blast from a hole in the earth's crust. Other times I was giddy and excited as I watched a bison roll itself in the dust, or a gigantic elk bull grazing in a meadow with antlers spreading four feet across. Amazing!! But perhaps the best part of this vacation was the time spent with family, learning more about each other, and realizing that no matter what happens in life that family is the most important thing.

Beautiful pictures! Ron and I took the boys to Yellowstone a few years ago, and we had an amazing time. We will be leaving in about two weeks to go to Utah and Jackson Hole Wyoming for ten days.
